the town is the gallery

The town is the Gallery programme is an amalgamation of learning across 4 years of research, development,community input and delivery where the local people have always directly co-built projects alongside our core team. The Town is the gallery will create art access across the town of Birkenhead across multiple venues and will be a multi project initiative. We believe anywhere can be a space for culture. This programmes will make arts and creativity a part of everyday life.

It consists of the following projects: In Cahoots, Art Trail, BIFF, Workshops/ Creative courses, One off events, Art Auction, Volunteer, Other/ Undefined. 

Across November, December 2022, and January 2023 we ran an expression of interest for people to shape and input to this programme. We are currently working through proposals and will have updates soon.
