St Monicas Catholic School Mural

We worked with the staff and the year 6 pupils from St Monica's to transform a wall on their site.

The pupils in year 6 worked alongside artists, Andy, Ryan and Amy Flynn (Dripped Goods) to create a mural that celebrates Bootle and the local area. The pupils were inspired by a range of street artists and created the mural using pattern rollers. Each orange stripe shows a repeating design using an image which is important to them.

The design built on Amy's signature technique she uses in jewellery and silver. For the school Amy created a grid which represents the local streets in Bootle and then had the student create pattern rollers to make up the design of the mural.

See the works in progress below with full design to come!
