Coming from the Caribbean, I’ve always been around music, finding happiness and community and fun. Often attending events with the sole reason of dancing through some big emotions.
I became interested in Djing in 2022, playing around at house parties or on friends decks. But became more intentional and registered on the Queensway Dj workshop series in 2023. I completed the course March 2024. I had my debut at Ponyboy Glasgow playing techno and electronic music as a b2b, and played my first solo which was a set full of
Afro house, funky breaks, trance, acid, and Balearic
at Futureyard. I also enjoy opportunities to play a more chill, laidback set with funk and jazzy disco vibes; I love exploring different genres and I'm constantly adding to my collection, and that's led me to having a repertoire that can entertain a diverse range of crowds.
I play what moves me, what's speaking to the experience I'm having. My desire is to share a story and take people on a journey. A take on Ram Das quote were all just walking eachother home - I'm sure there's some dancing along the way.
