Eleanor will be leading an introduction to illustration and comic strip making. Through the session you will be led through the skill of idea generation, storyboarding and creating your own comic.

Introduction to foraging and sustainable cooking with Diane Vegartemis
LOC X The Town is the Gallery, Tuesday 28th May
For ages (11-15) & (16 - 19)
Join us for the third session of the LOC x TTITG creative programme as we delve into the world of foraging, historic and sustainable cooking practices with Chef Diane Vegartemis
- a foraging walk with a focus on discussing the link between local food and people throughout history,
- followed by a tasting of some dishes and preserves using foraged ingredients and historical (as much as possible) methods.

Introduction to Calligraphy with Karema Munassar
LOC X The Town is the Gallery, Tuesday June 11th
Join us for the fifth session of LOC x TTITG creative programme as artist Karema Munassar leads a session in the historic methods of calligraphy. The Calligraphy works created will inform and be added to their new creative installation that will be exhibited at Birkenhead central library from: 26th July - 30th August.

‘use yer head or lose it’
LOC X The Town is the Gallery, Tuesday August 27th
Join us for the final session of phase one of LOC x TTITG creative programme alongside artist collective Rudolf and the Schwarzkoglers. In this session the collective will lead you through large scale making skills including sculpture and painting. The created works will be used and showcased throughout a parade and exhibition taking place in 2025 with lots more opportunities to get involved with this creative project across the year. @rudlofandtheschwarzkoglers
