Claire Henderson has delivered art and craft workshops across the Liverpool City Region over the years and founded Plush Crafts incorporating textile art into fashion and homeware.

Workshop

This workshop will cover the technique of a basic weave and other patterns and it's meditative process. Using coloured wool and patterns we will become confident in creating beautiful bookmarks to gift or take home for ourselves.

The workshop is designed to encourage student confidence and knowledge of the weaving process whilst enjoying making a bookmark. You will be closely supported throughout and the techniques explored in this course require no specialist skills.

The workshop will follow a format of Claire's demonstration and then participants to follow, showing physical examples along with images, followed by a practical creative session. A handout pack will be provided for students to make notes and take away.
