“My name is Millie and I make abstract paintings and drawings that playfully explore colour, shape and texture. My work is created by complete chance, I don’t know what’s going to appear when I begin a new piece - I like to let go of any expectations and let myself be guided by the process of making. Inspirations of mine include the music I listen to, psychedelia, Surrealism, Abstract Expressionism and Jean-Michel Basquiat.”
