Convenience Gallery is a community, contemporary arts organisation (based in Birkenhead Merseyside) focused on delivering accessible opportunities for our local communities to engage, create, develop, work in and be enriched through the arts. We are a small team dedicated to championing arts, artists, and arts engagement. Always aiming to create high quality, diverse, educational and challenging programming.
We support people through paid, voluntary and free to access opportunities to lead and access workshops and exhibitions, co-building projects together. We've had 3000 people attend our programming since 2019, creating 60+ number paid opportunities, co-built 18 exhibits and installs, worked with 20+ artists to lead creative workshops and lead 4 creative & wellbeing courses for local young people.
We are opening up conversation to collaborate with us on creative programming in all forms and disciplines for Summer/ Autumn 2022-Spring 2023.
We want to know more about our community and the creative things YOU want to create and see happen in Birkenhead and the wider area. We’re not looking for a finalised proposal, we just want to know your interest in being involved with Convenience and our approach and ethos within community/contemporary arts.
Timeframe to get in touch: Now - March end.

We are planning an idea share event - where we will meet up with people who have expressed interest. As well as where relevant setting up individual one to ones.
We will also send you a monitoring form - which is optional to fill out.
