Ben Lunt

Perhaps we are nothing more than jiggly organ sacks that wobble around on a rock hurtling through space until we just, sort of don’t anymore. Ben Lunt is an artist working in a range of materials to produce sculptures and interactive environments, without a clue of why we’re really here. His work questions how humans can come to terms with their short-lived sweaty bodies when they’re constantly bested by the immortal supercomputers in their pockets. By using humour and the unexpected, Ben tackles cosmic horror, the eternal void; wondering ‘does my cat actually love me’ and what does a ‘healthy work/ life balance’ actually look like?
